Local Scholarship Information
Ionia High School facilitates the application process for several local scholarships open from Friday, February 14th at 8:00 am to Friday, March 14th at 3:00 pm. Forms are now open and scholarship winners will be announced at Class Night on Tuesday, May 20th.
Due dates for the scholarships below vary outside of the local scholarship window provided above. However, these are still local scholarships. You are responsible for submitting materials by the individual scholarship due date and ensuring you are eligible for the scholarship.

Michigan Grant & Scholarships
Michigan Achievement Scholarship: This new scholarship will provide students with more financial support at the state level for their post-secondary education. More information can be found at: https://www.michigan.gov/mistudentaid/

Tuition Incentive Program: The Tuition Incentive Program, usually referred to as TIP, is a program that provides eligible students with tuition assistance for the first two years of college and beyond. To be eligible, students must have (or have had) Medicaid coverage for 24 months within a 36-consecutive month period between the age of 12 through high school graduation. Students receive a letter in the mail upon qualifying. If you think you may be eligible or if you need to apply, see your counselor. Michigan Indian Tuition Waiver: The Michigan Indian Tuition Waiver waives the tuition costs for eligible Native Americans in public community colleges or universities in Michigan. More information, including the application and additional instructions, can be found at:
